The reader is reading particularly suitable for national ID cards and can be used with computers equipped with a USB port. The widely used USB-A connector ensures compatibility with both new and older computers.
Plug & Play functionality enables immediate use without requiring driver installation. To use it with an inserted card, simply install the appropriate application. The reader is compatible with most national eID (electronic ID) applications.
The card reader supports all common formats of contact Smart Cards, identification system cards, and other chip cards, including contact-based banking payment cards and contact electronic ID cards*.
